I think Baylor will beat uconn by 10+ tonight.

Imo they won't lose to Baylor, I think Uconn will find a way to win a lot of their big games this year as many of them are in Conn,

When they lose it will be to a team you would't expect them to lose to.

Based on their schedule I think the losses they will have prior to the NCAA tournament will be;

Home
Depaul, SC

Away
Maryland, Temple, ND

Baylor should eat them alive inside, but Geno will come up with a defense that will keep this one close.

I was looking at Baylor's schedule and I would love to see Baylor vs South Carolina. Maybe that will happen later in the tournament.

Geno has a young, inexperienced team this year. The odds makers have UConn as a 14.5 point favorite! These guys are drinking last years Kool-Aid. Ludicrous. As a UConn fan, I and most of us see a loss tonight of between 5 and 15. A loss under 5 would be an achievement for this team. Most however think a game in March between these two would be closer and perhaps have a different result. Most if not all of us agree that having such a tough OOC reveals where the work needs to be done and toughens a team mentally and physically. It forces each player to confront their shortcomings and what they need to do individually to improve themselves and the team. But that's always been this teams way. Tonight is one game on one night. Give Mulkey and this team credit. They are big, fast and experienced with a strong bench with strong recruits, and if they win tonight it will be no fluke.

Isn't Stevens more of a wing, even with her height? Her build is certainly not that of a post, though I guess she did average over 2 blocks per game and nearly a double-double last year.

The beauty of being red shirted is it gives her a chance to transform herself into UConn shape. She'll be spending much time in the weight room and plenty working on her back to the basket footwork. As well as improving her shot to the arc and working much harder on her defense. More than she ever has or expected. Notwithstanding how to play all out every game for 3 or so hours. With Geno it's be tough, be ready, be mistake free, play with and read your teammates at all times or enjoy your time on the bench. On the bench for most of your entire scholarship. The more talented you are the tougher the coaches will be on you. The practice pressure the coaches give out is often painful, and Geno has driven more than one player to tears. Azura is one talented young lady. Expect the same. Ms. Dangerfield who is always cheerful and smiling still smiles before game time. She lost that smile after her 2nd practice. By the way, this teams coaches preach playing with the same precise, mistake free intensity no matter the opponent. As Geno says "If I can't trust you when we're 20 points up, how do I trust you when we're 5 points. down?" The opponent doesn't matter. Play well or sit. This team will lose to good teams, not the bad ones.

Ya'll talking about bad reffing you should be watching this Texas vs Stanford game. Also in the years I've been watching UConn play they have always improved in the areas they were bad in in November. So unless you expect them to be this bad in March then you haven't been watching much women's ncaa tourney basketball the last 10 years.

There is bad reffing in jmust about every WCBB game

Doris is over the top. Is she in love with Geno or something?

That's not the odds on the game, but rather what Massey predicts. Of course this early in the season, Massey is only using information from last season, so of course he has UConn winning big. Massey projected an 18.5 point win over Florida State, so he was way off there.

However, I just looked at the Vegas odds for this game and it's UConn -10!! That means they think UConn is 10 points better than Baylor. Shocking!

UConn by 3 at the half. I still think Baylor wins going away. They are already in foul trouble, with three starters.

Crystal Dangerfield is really good. Lauren Cox, not so much (although she had some super quick post moves, but missed the shot).

Once Nina Davis and the big Baylor post get going, Baylor will pull away.

Dat part. WE shall see. If Uconn lose the whole WCBB will breathe a sigh of relief and think dat dey can do it. But not every coach is Kim.

Let's see Baylor belief in the second half.

If Baylor doesn't take care of business in the 4Q, I fear there is no hope this season.
