Italy vs. Spain in the semis. Yuck. Two teams whose styles of play I generally hate. That said, this Italian team hasn’t been all about getting a single goal and parking every bus like in years past, so I guess I’d rather they go through to the final. Pulling for England and Denmark today.

I enjoy their styles...but wish they were on opposite brackets. And want an underdog. But either denmark or england will knock the other out.

I’ll admit I haven’t really watched any of Spain’s games so far. Is their basic style still like it was when they were at their peak, where they have 75% of the ball, play about 6,000 four yard passes and somehow score on each of the two chances they create over the course of the match?

Italy has definitely deviated from some of their teams in the past where at times it felt like they were playing for PK’s from the opening whistle.
