UF DE Alex McAllister Dismissed

2015 - 108th in yards per game
2014 - 97th in yards per game

That's offensive output numbers. Isn't that Mac's specialty? Muschamp having the better offense would be my worry if I were a gator. If Franks doesn't come in ready to roll, could get interesting.

That offense had 4 OL drafted and a NFL starting RB.

I see you like moving the goalposts also.

My post you quoted was in response to someone suggesting UF would be in trouble once Musclecramps' defensive recruits left...defense...

Our offensive issues will be resolved as soon as we have a QB lining up under center not named Treon Harris.

If they couldn't beat Harris or Grier wait until DelRio rides into Knox like Blazin Saddles and comes out with a W. Lol

Some qb will sign in next year or 2 if Franks isnt the guy. Too big of an opportunity to play immediately at a SEC power school.

After one year of McElwain, you'd be hard pressed to find a UF fan questioning whether or not we got the right guy.

After three years of Butch Jones, you'd be hard pressed to find concensus among UT fans on whether or not he's the right guy.

All that proves is that fans are idiots

Yeah some get caught up in "RIGHT" guy and "DREAM" guy. Butch isnt our dream but Robert Neyland, Jon Gruden nor Nick Saban aren't walking through that door. Butch imo is the guy to do the things necessary for UT to succeed. Just reasonable expectations for what we have to offer salary wise.

On top of this, Taylor and Robinson both declare for the draft.

Butch has no excuse to lose to Florida in Knoxville.

I don't blame Taylor one bit, considering the garbage line he had to run behind all year.

Robinson is a head case. He'll ace the combine workout and fail the team interviews.

It will be interesting to see who leaves early on defense, other than VH3.

Yeah, that's kind of why I said I would be worried about offense if I were you. What kind of pros did Mac have at Colorado State? Because he was 24th in the country with them. Did they have more talent than FL this year? He developed Lambert, why couldn't he do it with anyone on FL roster? Hey, you don't have to worry about it. I'm just saying I would be more concerned about our offensive production than the defensive guys leaving, considering my coach is an offensive guy and the main reason he was hired.

After 2 years with Muschamp you'd be hard pressed to find a FL fan questioning whether you had the right guy or not either. I think Jones has done a fabulous job, top to bottom. I'm not like some who think his coaching mistakes are the end of the world. We're not even in those games without his recruiting, so you have to figure that into the equation somewhere.

As the season progressed, our already below average offensive line suffered some injuries, and Treon Harris regressed.

The takeaways that kept us in the LSU game and allowed us to blow out UGA didn't happen as the season finished up.

All that said, we were picked to finish 5th in the division and wound up winning it, with a garbage offensive line and a QB who has no business starting in the SEC.

I think Taylor could hurt, but that's it. Who else is considering leaving early on defense? Other than VH3?

You act as if Grier wasn't a solid to more than solid QB in the first 6 games. The UF offense of Games 7-12 wasn't the same as games 1-6.

Said Muschamp was the guy after his first year.

Says McElwain is THE guy after his first year.

So, it's gonna get ugly when UF loses Muschamp's defensive recruits, but by your own admission you say it's not difficult to reload at UF.

Makes perfect sense.

It shouldn't be difficult, but it looks like that's not the case.

Spin it however you want. The recruiting class is mediocre at best right now.

Lol at the dippers in this thread thinking it won't stain their teeth. Hollar back when you're mcelwain's age and post a pic of your teeth.

I dipped from the age of 15 til I was 32. I brushed extra during that time too but there's no doubt it stains your teeth.

If ours is mediocre what is yours?!? A joke if you really believe that.
