Said Muschamp was the guy after his first year.

Says McElwain is THE guy after his first year.

We didn't know Muschamp was the guy after one year. We thought Muschamp might be the guy after his second year. We were wrong.

Given how McElwain rebuilt Colorado State, and his championship pedigree at Alabama, there's a much more for UF fans to hang their hat on.

Looks a lot like CBJ first full which had 16 4* and 15 3* 1 2*.

By whose standard is the 5th ranked recruiting class considered mediocre, with several more higher rated kids on deck to sign by February?

Late 80s Miami?
Mid 90s Nebraska?
Bama now?

And we're being accused of spinning the situation. :loco:

With top guys leaning our wat like Manuel, Mac Wilson, Nixon, Burns, Jacob Mathis, Tatum. While top 2-3 with Fulton, Myer brothers, Dickerson and Victor.

I always smile when I read VNs view on Mac's coaching and recruiting.

You act as if Grier wasn't a solid to more than solid QB in the first 6 games. The UF offense of Games 7-12 wasn't the same as games 1-6.

So he can only succeed with a good QB? Wouldn't that make him pedestrian and average at offensive coaching and not great? That's my point exactly.

All coaches are better with better talent, is that even an argument? Why didn't Butch succeed with Worley in 2013?

Harris isn't just mediocre, he's terrible. He's a 5'11 athlete trying to play QB.

Right now it is mediocre but its ridiculous to argue either way right now. They have a top 5 class bc they have more kids committed than other schools. Florida still has a great chance to have an amazing class depending on who they lock down between now and signing day. None of this matters until signing day.

Neal
Davis
Cox

...have said they are returning. Maye is waiting on his feedback from NFL.

Cox is good...I didn't notice the other guys at all during games and I watched almost all of them (GF is a Gator).

Oh well...I can lean on the QB situation for being the reason we win 2016!!!

I was too busy focusing on that lady in blue's legs.

Nice set of legs.

But looks like...

Neal, Davis and Cox are all excellent. Neal is fantastic in run support and hits like a truck. Davis is fast and has a knack for the ball. Cox and Jefferson provide a nice tandem at DE. Their defense will be only slightly worse than last year.

Cox has been pretty good at run stopping then going after the qb, Jefferson should be better with another season of weights and diet. If Maye comes back the defense will surprise a lot of people.
We just need a qb and we can probably win the east again.
