Heavyweight Title Unification Bout
Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir
Probably one of the biggest fights in UFC history, and it will not disappoint. I respect both fighters immensely, which makes this difficult to predict a winner.
If Lesnar wins, he could become the biggest name in MMA, which helps the UFC in regards to his charisma. The man can sell a PPV. Credit his time in WWE for being able to sell a PPV. He's also no scrub when it comes to the MMA world. Tremendous respect goes out to Lesnar forbeing able to not only win the Heavyweight crown, but in doing so beat "The Natural" Randy Couture. Note: This was Lesnar's 4th MMA fight...ever.
If Mir wins, we may get a chance to see Mir-Couture, which would be a tremendous fight. Mir could be the best heavyweight in the world when it comes to jiu-jitsu, and his stand-up has improved considerably from the last time these two met. Just ask Minotauro how dangerous Mir's stand up is. Mir, for the record, is the only person to ever stop Big Nog, and that is quite impressive. On the other hand, and it's a big hand, Lesnar has monster sized hands, and will be around 285 on fight night. It's hard to choose a winner here, but I am going to go with...
Lesnar via TKO (punches) - Round 2
Welterweight Title Bout
Georges "Rush" St-Pierre vs. Thiago "Pitbull" Alves
This matchup for GSP is very scary. Alves could be the biggest threat to St. Pierre's Welterweight crown to date. Alves has tremendous knockout power, and GSP is prone to the TKO ( see first fight with Matt Serra.) However, GSP brings a unique, and high level, blend of many disciplines into this fight, which may pose a problem for Alves. GSP could be the most athletic fighter in MMA today, and Alves could be in trouble. This one could be up there for Fight of the Night honors, so I am going with....
St. Pierre by submission (armbar) - Round 3
Middleweight Bout
Dan Henderson vs. Michael "The Count" Bisping
This fight will be spectacular. I've waited for this fight for quite some time now. Henderson is a sure bet hall-of-famer, and Bisping needs some work to do. I know I may catch heat for this, bug Bisping hasn't fought a legitmate title contender aside from Rashad Evans. Don't believe me? Let's compare who Hendo and the Count have fought. We'll start with Bisping: Leben, Day, McCarthy, Hamill, Evans (L), Sinosic, Schafer, and Haynes. As for Hendo: Franklin, Palhares, Anderson Silva (L), Quinton Jackson (L), Vanderlei, Belfort, Misaki (W and L), Bustamante, Gono, Babalu, and Minotauro Nogueira. Bisping is talented, don't get me wrong, but he hasn't been tested by the likes of Henderson yet in his career. The will be a 3 round battle with the winner being...

Middleweight Bout
Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Alan "The Talent" Belcher
Akiyama is making is anticipated debut in the UFC in this fight, and brings world class judo with him. His only loss came back in 2005, and could be a force to be reckoned with in the Middleweight division for years to come. At 25 years old, Belcher still has growing to do in the sport, and is already a veteran of the sport with over 19 professional matches. However, I think we are witnessing a championship contender in the making with Akiyama, and could remember his debut for years to come.
Akiyama via Submission (rear-naked choke) - Round 2
Light Heavyweight Bout
Jon "Bones" Jones vs. Jake O'Brien
One of the rising stars in the UFC in Jones, faces off against former heavyweight O'Brien. Jones may be most remembered for his match with Stephan Bonnar, where Jones exhibited unique throws and slams, and took a unanimous decision victory. O'Brien has experience with top level talent, having previously faced Velasquez, Arlovsky (both losses,) and a victory over Heath Herring. O'Brien's size may prove to be an issue with Jones, but I like Jones' upside and a potential main-eventer.
Jones by Split Decision
Welterweight Bout
Dong Hyun Kim vs. Jonathan Goulet
You know, I don't really care about this fight. Neither guy will ever headline a UFC card, and I am extremely happy this fight may not be shown on TV, because I would much rather watch water boil. But what the hell, let me pick a winner...in the words of Will Ferrell as Robert Goulet...
GOULET!! via Split Decision
Middleweight Bout
C.B. Dollaway vs. Tom Lawlor
Two former Ultimate Fighter contestants square off here, and actually a fight worth seeing. Hopefully, we get to see this one on the PPV. Dolloway is an accomplished wrestler from Arizona State and also delivered a wonderful Peruvian Necktie choke on Jessie Taylor at one of the UFC Fight Nights. Tom Lawlor is known for getting slammed in the face by a Ryan Bader fist on The Ultimate Fighter. And, I hear he has a sweet full beard. Anyway, the winner is...
Dollaway via Submission (guillotine) - Round 3
Light Heavyweight Bout
Matt Grice vs. Shannon Gugerty
Hopefully this is not a boring fight. Even if it is, it won't be shown on the PPV, so what does it matter? I've gotta go with the dude who doesn't have a girl's name...
Matt Grice via Unanimous Decision
