I'd pay twice as much to watch somebody destroy Lesnar.

Coming from a person who has always watch boxing how did Lesnar even get a title shot after so few fights?

It was great show too bad I couldn't see the prelims (guess nobody did)But did anyone think that Akiyama won over Belcher IMO he got hosed I was looking around for Don King to show up the judging was so horrible on that fight (one judge had it 30-27 )

You answered your own question. It's all about the ratings. Lesnar did NOTHING to deserve a title shot, but Dana knew he would increase his bank account by getting Brock in with Couture. Now, he will ride this gravy train as long as he can.

One of the biggest travesties in MMA history. Belcher knocked him on his ass in the 1st round and dominated. How could you score it for Akiyama????

As much publicity as they gave him, he had to win, and they ensured it would happen.

This political BS is what turned a lot of people from boxing. Dana better be careful. No sane person could say that Belcher lost the first round, much less the fight.

There's nobody in the heavyweight division that can deal with Brock right now,(he's just too big and too strong)even with the new tough coming up there not gonna find anyone.

I can see two things happening with him they hire Bobby Lashley (which I see happening)and will get some mileage from that. And Dana comes off the cash and we get to see the superfight everyone has been clamoring for someone against "Fedor".Dana knows he has someone now who could knock him off his throne and he can ride Brock for awhile. He would have already did it but he didn't know where he stood with Couture.

I absolutely love Brock Lesnar now. He just doesn't give a damn, and I love that. Him and Rampage are my 2 favorite UFC fighters. However, my favorite will always be Fedor.

IMO, that takedown and flurry of punches won that round for Akiyama.

Brock was entertaining the fans in the octogon interview. He was quite humble and apoligized in the post fight press conference.

He's coming from the entertainment world, where he says what will get the fans coming back. He's really just a small town farm boy from South Dakota. I don't think he's adjusted to the UFC where he can just be himself.

I didn't miss what you said. Just playing around with you. And you definitely didn't say he was your favorite MMA fighter.

Anyways, it was just a joke.

But White remains confident he'll eventually sign Fedor Emelianenko, the Russian heavyweight considered among the sport's top pound-for-pound fighters. Emelianenko fights in Anaheim, Calif., on Aug. 1 to finish his contract with Affliction, and White said he'll go after the Russian striker with an open wallet. "Eventually, Fedor is going to be here," White said. "I want him to come to the UFC. ... We'll do Brock vs. Fedor, and it'll be a huge fight. He's obviously contractually obligated to fight (in Anaheim), and once that's over, we'll see how it goes."
White is going to try and get Fedor (again)
