UFC Thread

Well, it's summertime so they are cranking out events. I'm not going to complain.

Oh I know and I am glad because I would be going crazy from sports withdrawals, just miss super cards. They've lost a lot of the big names the last few years too, so casual fans don't know a lot of these guys. Everyone knew Chuck, Tito, Couture, BJ, GSP, Bones, Forrest, and Brock for that matter. They aren't that familiar with Conor, Weidman, AG, Pettis, TJ, DJ, etc. So it probably does appear down as opposed to recent years.

Btw, neither Shogun nor R Noguiera have winning records in the UFC.

Brazillian events are usually my least favorite. There was a really good one recently tho

It sucks that all the Pride guys but Rampage were on the backside of their careers by the time the UFC ate Pride.

I'm trying to help you get there. Lol

You need personalities. Liddell and Tito had the hair. Couture was captain America. Brock was the pro wrestler. Etc.

Brock was an idiot but i didn't care either way. Maybe guilt for jacking it to his wife when i was a kid.

The sport has leveled off. Back when the first grouping you listed were headliners the sport was on a meteoric rise. Those fighters benefit from that.

There are plenty of great fighters now, Chris Weidman is tearing through the UFC, as is Rousey. Jose Aldo is an all-time great. Conor McGregor is making his push, Pettis and Johnson are very good.

Honestly he was/is a huge name, but I'd pick almost every top 5 guy in every division now, to watch over GSP. Casual fans always had to watch his fights because of his name, but he was so ****ing boring after the Serra loss.

Always thought he was boring. He was great but boring.

First of all he wasn't saying Ronda hates her, and second i don't dispute that. You have the most random comments.

As joe rogan stated. Hatred makes people act out towards a person where as, if they were not emotional they would pay them no attention.

You formed your opinion of her based on tuf, which is what rogan was speaking about in my above paraphrase.

He was talking about the editing fooling me. You are talking about the reason she was a *****. I didn't see how your point related to what Rogan is saying and this doesn't clarify anything for me.

Also, to me you can say Ronda was a ***** because she hates Miesha. I believe that and I accept that, for whatever it might be worth, but Rousey was such a poor loser and she would do something a little emotionally unstable every time they lost, it seemed.

I really condemn the things Correia said about Rousey, but one reason they hurt so bad is she is a little crazy.
