With Haggerty headlining ONE 171 later this month, I was reminded of his outing vs Lobo. One action packed fight. Worth a watch or a rewatch ICYMI.

SS is as tough as it gets. However, something was wrong with him in the last fight DDP. I think DDP wins 80% of the time, but something seemed off.

I did MMA for several years and just got back to being able to spar a bit. I’m old. But still, sparing takes a bunch out of you. It’s crazy the amount of sparing SS does.

SS is like Nate Diaz…not a top 2-3 in his weight class but can beat a champion if his training and head are on straight for a camp and fight.

Izzy didn’t have power but could hit you from a lot of different angles. It’s the strike you don’t see coming that knocks you out.

People figured him out. Still…he was a world champion for awhile because he was world class.

With the rise of the Dagestan wrestlers, I think he doesn’t have a chance against the new breed of middle weights.
