I doubt we get to see Reyes/Jones II anytime soon. Dana said both fighters are banged up and need to heal. I assume he wants Bones to take winner of DC/Miocic III at HW.

Went back and watched the Jones/Reyes fight again and I dont think the fight was as close as many think. Especially in the 3rd, many of those strikes that Reyes was throwing werent landing. He landed a lot less than I originally thought I saw. I still dont think Jones won 4 rounds, but I definitely dont think Reyes was robbed now that I watched it again.

Reyes may have won that round but it was close. Bones said he learned a lot from that fight. Reyes is just talking about how he won. What he should have learned is you can't try to coast in the last half of a fight to a decision win as a challenger. We've all seen this play out dozens of times where the champ gets the benefit of the doubt.

I just dont think the scoring was as terribly off as I thought it was. A ton of his strikes didnt even land but looked like they did initially. I hope we see a part II, but I wouldnt be surprised if we didnt.

The other thing Reyes should have learned is that judges seem to weight cage control in very erratic and subjective ways. I think most fans (myself included) tend to lean damage > cage control, and judges tend to be more cage control > damage, relatively speaking.

I wanna see the rematch too, but I'd rather see him fight Stipe at HW. Also, rematches haven't gone very well for JBJ's opponents.

I would like to see a third fight between Stipe and Cormier before Jones moves up. Jones can fight the winner of Corey Anderson and and Jan Blachowicz in the meantime. Reyes can work on his cardio and take another fight before another shot at the title.

When does Townsend get his UFC contract pulled? Don't think I've ever seen a more pathetic fighter in all my years watching for someone with his size and build.

Anyone else find whatever it is Diego Sanchez is doing now to be just odd.. that hand stance and just sprinting towards his opponent. Weird fight.

I've always disliked Corey Anderson because of his boring style but now he's acting like a fkn idiot. He talked **** saying Bones is ducking him (Bones took the fight against #4 Reyes instead).

Anderson is #5, and though he is on a 4 fight win streak, his best wins are #6 Blachowitz (but it was years ago) and old Teixeira. Anderson was just offered #3 Smith and basically said "nah, I'll wait for Jones." I hope Dana gives Santos or Smith a rematch before he gives Anderson a chance.

Bump

I didn't see it but i like Rogan's, or was it Cruz's idea? Have open judging where people can see who scored what in real time. Make the judges have some accountability.

I thought felder won. Also, adesanya is an idiot for his “crumble him like the twin towers” line. I hope Romero knocks his head off.
