McG has 1-win (against a corpse) in over 5 years, and he just called out Edwards, Izzy, and Jiri. I think that giving him a shot against Edwards is too crazy, even for Dana.

Conor has become a cartoon character. Who takes him seriously at all, anymore? What do his remaining fans think of him?

The guy isn’t even slightly funny any more. His last “real” win was all the way back in 2016. Never defended a belt. His talk means nothing now, just makes him look even more clown. I wish they’d just let him fight someone decent. he will get knocked out or tap again and hopefully he’ll go away for good.

Usman is going to take the immediate rematch. Chimaev has the Diaz fight. What happens with Colby? I think the plan has always been to get more out of Colby, but he can't fight Usman again, which is why Dana doesn't want to use him as a stepping stool with Chimaev or risk him getting KO'd by Edwards (that was actually Colby saying no). I think the plan was to have Chimaev leapfrog Colby in the rankings and have him fight Usman. They maybe fight 1-3x, but whatever happens, you can get a big PPV out of Chimaev vs. Colby after that. If Chimaev beats Colby now, that might be it for him as a big headliner. The division is getting better at the top. Hell, Muhammad, Burns, and Luque are all killers and they're 5 thru 7 in WW rankings.

Is he even healthy? I remember hearing he supposedly took some brain trauma from the sucker punch at the restaurant but never heard anything else about it. If healthy, let him fight Gilbert burns. I think he would wreck luque or Muhammad. Would love to see him vs edwards.

I think you are right about Muhammad but Luque might be a problem for him. Has Colby faced a large power puncher with Luque's skills? Muhammad was able to control the Luque fight with the takedown threat but I'm not sure Colby is that aggressive or successful with takedowns, so he might have a totally different dynamic with Luque. Since Luque is #7 and has lights out power, it's definitely the riskiest. Burns is a good matcup for him.

Press conference had to be cancelled tonight. Apparently it was chaos backstage. Khamzat and Holland got into it, then Nate’s camp got involved.

I heard fight is off. Wow dude. Chimaev will not headline again, unless it's a title fight. ****ing with Dana's $. He made 170 on 10 days notice once. How is he 8 lbs over?

And Diaz still not out of contract.
