I record it, then only watch fights. Unless someone is breaking shiz in the house, then I stop. Lol

That's what I do. A lot of seasons, I lose interest and stop watching altogether because the fights are as boring as the rest of the show. But this season, the fights have been outstanding. It helps that this is one of the more talented rosters that have ever been on TUF.

I don't think I'm buying Kevin Casey's "kidney" excuse. He seems to be a BJJ master who doesn't like to give or take punishment.

I agree 100%. He does not react well to getting hit. They should have given the wild card to Clint, at least he would have fought back.

Yeah, granted that Kevin fought a tough dude in the first round, but he was dominated. Clint punished the guy he lost to.

Kevin just laid there when Bubba was on top, I kept thinking if that was Clint he would be firing back at least. Honestly I feel like Clint is one guy that could be really really good. He's so raw but talented, if he got some good wrestling, and bjj training he could be a beast. IMO

I was very impressed with Clint in the first round of his fight. He just made a dumb mistake trying for a takedown (and wiffing) at the start of the second against a great ground guy. He was one guy I definitely thought should have gotten a wild card.

Who is Luke fighting next? It's hard to say. Between the people who are the 3 best, Collin, Uriah, and Luke, I don't think we've seen enough of them to really know yet. None of their opponents were that great.

I totally agree with you about those three. They probably had the three easiest fights of the 1st Round.

Luke is fighting Dylan on tonight's episode. Collin also fights Kelvin tonight, and I think Collin will walk through him.

I think Josh beats Jimmy and Uriah beats Bubba.

That will set up the Semis, which I'm betting will be Luke vs Collin and Uriah vs Josh. (Last week's episode made it apparent that Josh is terrified of Uriah. He was going to do everything in his power to avoid fighting Uriah.)

I agree, Josh seemed scared. I almost feel bad for Bubba, a mad Uriah is going to be hard to stop. I see Josh vs Uriah in the finale, simply cause I feel match ups will make it happen. I think Dana and the coaches see them as the top 2 guys, so they won't fight in the semis. IMO

You could be right. Obviously, if the Quarterfinal winners are Collin, Luke, Josh, and Uriah then the Semi's will keep the Team Jones vs Team Sonnen format. Josh will be jockeying hard for Luke, Luke will ask for Josh (like he did last week), Collin will ask for Uriah, and Uriah will beg for Josh. I think Collin has a decent shot against Uriah, but I still don't think he beats him, ultimately. Josh and Luke would be a great matchup. I would predict Luke, but that would pretty much be a toss-up.

Agreed 100%. I'm still surprised at how much talent this season has, I think at least 6 guys could have decent UFC careers. The 4 you mentioned, plus Bubba and Clint. With Uriah and Clint having the most potential IMO

That's one reason why this season has been one of my favorites. It's obvious the talent is a lot better than most other seasons.

I think a couple of the stockier guys, like Kelvin and Jimmy, could probably cut to 170 without much problem. The fact these guys have to basically stay at fighting weight gets overlooked sometimes. Even though Bubba was whining like a baby, I liked how they showed him having to watch everyone else eat a huge Thanksgiving meal while he couldn't since he had to weigh in the next day.

Last night's fights were outstanding. I couldn't have been more wrong with my predictions! Lol

I totally agreed with what Dana said with the Luke-Dylan fight going to a 3rd. Although Dylan had top position for the majority of two rounds, he did nothing with it, and Luke was landing some nasty shots from the bottom. But in that 3rd Round, that was all heart by Dylan. I definitely underestimated the guy, and I think evryone else did, too.

Kelvin was definitely underestimated, too. That KO last night was NASTY! Also, kudos to him for pulling off. He could have landed a couple more blows on the ground, but pulled up when he realized he was out.

I don't think Luke did anything to earn a 3rd round, and justice was served. Dylan is awesome. The two last picks are in the semifinals. Goes along with my theory that we overrate raw physical qualities in sports. Luke was first pick cause he's tall. Jones thought he could beat the #1 pick with a bodybuilder. Nobody was scared to fight and bang with Kelvin because he's short. Etc.

I totally disagree about Luke doing nothing. Dylan had top postion for probably 7 of the 10 minutes, but did absolutely nothing with it. Luke landed more strikes and significant strikes. He also had a couple decent submission attempts.

I'm not seeing it. Dylan took him down whenever he wanted. He did equal damage in striking. And most importantly he controlled for all but about 2 minutes.
