But what happened in the second fight when Silva took it serious? Sonnen couldn't do anything with him. Silva would take a GSP fight seriously and do the same thing to GSP. IMO

I may be underrating GSP simply because he is underwhelming in fights. He doesn't put anybody away but he rarely gets in danger and almost always has control.

He is always in control, but he also hasn't fought a striker like Silva. Condit gave GSP a good fight, BJ made GSPs face look like it got hit with a 2×4, hell even Shields did ok when standing. Silva is in a different universe striking wise, it would end fast and ugly IMO

This. A GSP fight will bring out the best in Silva, and Silva will destroy him.

GSP does not want the Silva fight. Hopefully Dana throws a boatload of $$$ at him and that will (hopefully) change his mind. I did see it mentioned on one of the websites that Anderson was open to a catchweight bout at 180 with GSP. I hope it happens because I want to see GSP get wrecked so bad.

I would love to see GSP get destroyed. I think his wrestling is better that sonens and he could control Sliva.

Sadly I don't think we will ever get to find out.

Thats where im at too. Except i like GSP, i think it'd be better than most people think. Silva still wins though, IMO.

Silva says GSP is "No Good".(Also a rare occasion where Anderson speaks English on TV) While I think it's just a loss of communication as I don't think he meant GSP isn't a good fighter......Anyway, I don't really like Silva but I respect that he would choose the tougher fight against Jones.

The way I took it and the way I felt.like he was trying to explain it, is GSP doesn't want the fight so it won't happen.

Apparently you watched a completely different fight than the rest of the world. The second fight was going the same as the first until Sonnen tried that stupid spinning backfist.
