Maybe the solution to battle the UFOs is to stay indoors...and wear a mask to hide your identities.

The odds aliens exist is one thing.
The odds aliens exist and they somehow find us in a near infinite galaxy seems close to impossible.
It's more than a little coincidental that UFO sightings picked up during the Cold War but have also become much easier to dispel with current technology. Just like how people seemed to see Bigfoot just about everywhere but curiously a seven foot tall man ape is never seen on a thermal camera or HD video.

I’ve seen things a couple of times that are very hard to explain.

Last December, I saw a very large object in Texas, about 45 minutes south of Dallas, that was stationary for a few minutes. There were fighter jets in the vicinity of this thing. I walked inside to tell me my wife and when I come back outside it was nowhere to be seen. A completely cloudless sky, and you could see for miles around in every direction.

I’m skeptical of the alien thing, simply because if the distances involved. But I do believe there is truth to the many reputable people who have claimed to see unusual objects. To me, what those objects are, is the question.

People see things all the time. I've seen a few things I can't explain. Just last night I saw a what looked like an amber or orangish colored something in the sky. I would say it most closely resembled a comet, body with a tail, that was static in the sky for a second or two then faded to nothing.

I've seen light beams with no visible source coming straight down from the cloud filled sky with no sound on a fishing trip in my teens.

People see things all the time, just don't know what they are. I imagine a lot more people with stories like mine. Were they aliens, hell I don't know. But I can see why some people might believe they've seen them.

It's a near certainty IMO that advanced civilizations exist in our galaxy. I have always been skeptical that they have visited earth but concede it may be possible. All we have to do to visit exoplanets ourselves is get around that pesky light speed thing (and a few other things like ionizing cosmic radiation). According to our understanding of physics today it appears we cannot accelerate anything with mass to light speed. So chemical or nuclear propulsion ships are definitely out and probably warp drives too. However until we develop a theory of everything that rules out getting from star A to star B in a reasonable amount of time the door isn't shut. It's a given that if humans had the means we would travel to other worlds. There's reason to believe that intelligent non humans from another star system would do the same.

Also it wouldn’t surprise me if aliens were in the ocean or deep in the earth. It also wouldn’t surprise me if they were in other dimensions that we can’t see, like a 4th dimension or something.

I learned something today, I didn't know Walmarts weren't open 24/7 anymore. I also have never been to one at 2 AM so I'll have to defer to your expertise on that one.

Also, we can't say with absolution that something in the realm of physics is impossible. I think it's silly to suggest that we know any significant information about the rules of the universe and its capabilites.

Interesting, because again, before 2020, the government story would have been that UFOs and aliens don't exist and that would have been the story that people would have NOT believed.

So now you're saying that the govt is now coming out to acknowledge some of these claims and you're going to have mass skepticism of that? Interesting.

Correct. I would have been skeptical before 2020, too. Skeptic by nature and have an extreme distrust in govt institutions, information, and motives.

Something feels very coordinated with this, which makes me even more curious what is really going on.

This made me think about a segment from one of Ricky Gervais' podcasts. They were discussing the existence or nonexistence of ghosts, and he said it's curious that man has existed for tens of thousands of years in his current state but for the most part ghosts seem to appear in Victorian or newer clothing. You don't see a ghost dressed like cro magnon man.

Maybe ghosts are similar to Amish. Like, the Amish achieved peak societal piety to God in the 1800s and have taken great effort to remain there. Perhaps ghosts and all entities in the spiritual plane have decided Victorian finery are peak ghosting garb. Even Cro Magnon ghosts are issued a Victorian wardrobe to specter about in.

Today, yes. But ghosts are mentioned in many ancient cultures. Egypt being one. It's called the Akh. In Rome, it was blamed on improper burial. In China and I think India they actually have a festival like day of the dead but its to keep spirits in their own realm to avoid them troubling ours. Perhaps ghosts have a shelf life? Idk. Weird stuff.
