To me it’s obvious the “Big Balls, Petal to the Metal CJH” will elect to receive if UT wins the coin toss.

If UGA wins the Coin Toss will Kirby have the balls to kick to UT first thinking his defense can get a quick stop and gain field position or will he elect to receive to keep UT from getting the first score.

I really think if UGA wins the toss this could be a pivotal decision for Kirby.

I think UT would elect to receive and so would Kirby even though he would probably prefer to go on D first against most teams.

Do we always elect to receive in the first half or we we generally defer? This team has been pretty good at scoring right before the half and then getting the ball back at halftime too.
i would stick with whatever we normally do personally

I think that's exactly how CJH likes to play it. Defer to second, and win the "middle 8" by scoring right before the half, and then scoring again to start the 3rd qtr. Puts potentially 14 points on the board without the other team breaking your rhythm.

Would this underlined phrase above be considered an Idiom or malapropism for our group here?

Something similar to "pocket presents", "Prime Madonna" oops "pre madonna", etc, etc...

Go Vols!

No Dilemma. Vols choosing to DEFER the kickoff till second half will put the Dawgs under stress knowing they must score. And, when they go 3 and out and we score they will be shell-shocked, Huge Momentum swing for the VOLS with the puppies knowing we get the ball to start the second half. Book it. Stetson will choke!

Kirby does seem like the guy to like the D more..

to me, Kirby seems like a fella who has no balls… as such, I don’t expect him to want to take the ball on a coin toss.

prove me wrong bulldog trolls!

UT elects to defer almost exclusively.

I think we typically defer when we win the toss. Heupel is confident we can close the first half with a score and then we can get a two possession lead on the first possession of the second half.

Heupel won’t elect to receive.
