UGA has a good team. Their defense is elite. This is the best and most consistent UGA defense I've seen in my life. They are coached up and disciplined and rarely miss tackles. Far different than the talented yet underachieving bunch during the end of the Richt years.

Their O line and running game is elite as well. But their QB play isn't good enough for them to compete for a title or beat Bama. UGA won't be able to run the way they are now against Alabama, and Fromm will be forced to make plays and I just don't see that happening. Pro style offenses in general are awful against Alabama. It seems like you need a duel threat or some form of creative spread offense to beat Alabama.

I think we get to the SECCG 11-1 with a loss to Auburn, though that opinion could change if they lose to LSU tomorrow.

Fromm also needs to prove his worth as something more than just a game manager, and our secondary needs to be more consistent.

Your propensity to underachieve has always been there. It isn't just a Richt thing. Georgia should have won about 5 national titles since 1980. Had more than enough talent to. It's amazing that a school like Georgia only has won 2 national titles in its history.

Position it how ya want. You seem to have a hard on for me anyways, but UGA did make it to #1 for a reason. Now are they the best in the nation? Obviously not by today's performance. That said, no prediction was made that they ever were. I said they were very good. And they are.

Now I was hoping their prowess may demonstrate that we aren't as bad as it was looking. Amd for that I was clearly incorrect. Aside from that, they are still a damn good team.

They’ll lose to...Auburn again. If Auburn plays like they did vs UGA when they face Bama, Bama is getting curbed stomped.

Again, this "propensity" isn't some supernatural quality that our team possesses. It's an indictment on the coach. Unfortunately for Richt, there are a number of indictments for which he was solely responsible.
