UGA had the ball trying to kill the clock and ran it down to 15 seconds on 4th down . . . got the punt blocked and Vandy recovered and very nearly ran it in. Then Vandy had 2 shots from the 20 but didn't score.

Even crazier . . . UGA DC Todd Grantham ended up jawing with Franklin at midfield after the game and there was a near riot. :lol: Love to know what that was all about.

Still can't believe UGA got that punt blocked. The protection was bad and the punter had zero urgency to get the ball off.

Couldn't see what happened to provoke it, but Grantham looked like an ass going after Franklin.

This is the first time since the season started that I have believed that they have a fair shot at beating UT. Franklin is a good coach, but we are not very far ahead of them as a program at the moment and another decent SEC team fighting for recruits is not what UT needs. Losing to Vandy would really put some heat on Dooley. It is very possible.

When you think about it, without Lathers, hunter, bray, and janzen we aren't that much better than Vandy right now. But a loss to them would certainly put heat on Dooley
