Uga VII has died

Unfortunately, all humor is based upon tragedy. The deeper the loss, the funnier the joke.

Classless. Some of you guys sound like the Gamecock fans. No matter how much I dislike Georgia there is no place for jokes about losing a pet.
:cray:I haven't seen any mean posts. He's a mascot, not a pet anyways. Grow a sense of humor.

By the way, if the Gamecock kicked off I'm sure he would make a great entree.

OK, before I say this, I live in Georgia and am constantly heckled by UGA fans. So, they can take a little ribbing back.

But as it turns out, they forgot to untie him from the trailer hitch of the truck before heading over to The Varsity for a chili cheese dog. They lose more dogs that way.

So I'm assuming that when Smoky passes, you'll be fine with jokes and stupid remarks huh???
I don't know, have to see how original they are. Look, I have a dog, but this is a Tennessee board not Peta. Give me a break.

:birgits_giggle: Oops, sorry. That wasn't politically correct.

not a dawg fan but I did like that dog. Wonder if they will have his replacement ready for Saturday's game?

..I hope Kentucky beats them. (should be a good game)

Somebody takes care of him just like someone takes care of Smokey. He's not a just a mascot, he is a pet. I like your posts but I'm going to have to completely disagree with you on this one. Damn Mike Vick, have a heart. Bye the way I'm no PETA lover, I had my ribeye rare tonight.

down a few years ago on Christmas Eve...Its
tough loosing a pet...lets keep it classy Vol
fans....
So you chose Christmas eve to put you beloved pet down? Not making any judgements but couldn't y'all do it on another day?

If a dog diesw of a heart attack, it could be because it's overwieght, but could other things. A pet is just as much a part of family as children are. It's the same way when Smokey dies.
RIP UGA VII.

I'm just going to have to disagree strongly with that statement and leave it at that.

Bulldogs aren't even real animals. They can't mate by themselves. They're like an animated canine zombie species. At least Smokey can hunt and fight and fsck. All the Ugas can do is sit there and lick their useless gonads and wish they could do anything other than waddle around uselessly in their sweaters.

, , , and the genetics have broken down to the point that the puppies now look like this:

I can't decide whether the fact that that guy actually does bear a passing resemblance to a bulldog is sadder for bulldogs or for fat guys.
