I’m fine with rival fans joining, but soon as one posts gifs of their team, it would be an instant ban from me. We don’t give af about your team around here! This is why I can’t stand most of their fanbase.

I agree. Most other opposing fans aren't that bad, but a few of these puppies are just obsessed with us. There's actually a couple of good Georgia fans who casually post, without begging for us to call them great

There are a fewUGA fans that have been here long before the NCs and don’t troll and discuss ball. The rest only joined just prior to first NC and bring nothing to Volnation….just here to troll and screen shot comments for their own message board.

Despise them all and wish nothing but the worst on them!

I am, just not bulldogs 😁. For the record, you're one of the few good ones I was talking about. You support your team, have always been respectful from what I've seen, and never begged for attention.

I’m wondering about the mindset of the team this year.

I’m remembering the bowl game a few years ago when Georgia played Texas in a NY6 Bowl but felt that they deserved to be in the Playoffs. They viewed Texas as an inferior opponent that they would easily crush so they barely put any effort into preparation and ended up getting blasted on Gameday

I’m wondering if we are seeing something similar on a larger scale as this whole season is filled with glorified cupcakes and the bottom of the SEC. I wonder if they feel like they can just coast through the season and get into the playoffs without breaking a sweat so they aren’t even really trying. That kind of arrogance can lead to teams getting caught off guard and taken by surprise.

I don’t know if that’s happening. Just saying, it’s the kind of situation where it could

Yeah, 7-0 right before half against UT Martin doesn’t inspire confidence! But they woke up after. I wasn’t able to watch, listened on the radio. So I don’t have a confident idea of where UGA is. One thing that bothers me is I keep hearing that our O-line got severely pushed around. This alarms me. I’ve felt pretty confident in that area. You can’t win consistently if the SEC in your O-line stinks. And if UTMartin gave us trouble, it makes me wonder. What where your thoughts on the Line? I’m reserving judgment at this point, at least until I see them get pushed around.

I'm not reading too much into it. UGA seems to have a hard time getting up for these games (see last year).

I do think UGA has taken a step back down to earth after the last two years. But time will tell.

I already got confident.

I thought SC could beat UNC and UF wasn't trash. 😁

But yeah I think the team will be OK because of how it sets up. You know they'll be aware of the big challenge of walking into the swamp not having won there in 20 years and SC they will won't revenge.

To put a bow on this, UT-Martin (HC confirmed) sold out to stop the run. What people saw was a defense that dared Georgia to beat them through the air and got a lot of credit for some dropped passes and starters not playing. This is also what it looks like to not have that huge TE on the field with Bowers. That happened with GA still putting up 500+ of offense. Concerns should arise if you're Oline is struggling when the box isn't loaded constantly, and you have your normal depth.
