Over the last three years, Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel has created an atmosphere on Rocky Top that's inviting, warm, fun, and family oriented. Recruits/players seem to love the positive culture that Heupel and his staff have created.

And Heupel, Heupel, Heupel, the Vol bear, a-howling, a-growling, and a-pawing the air.
The big changes to college football in 2024 may change the targets a little bit, but Josh Heupel still expects Tennessee to be competing for championships on a regular basis.
This again? It’s been my experience that if you’re singing the chorus loudly… you don’t have time for the Woo as you finish “Good Ole Rocky Top”… that’s what irks me, 90% of people that woo don’t sing the words.
I'm with CJH--I think the WOO! is necessary when it's done as a fight song. I mean, it would be different if a bluegrass group was singing it, but as a fight song/cheer, yeah, go for it.
Yeah, exactly this. I'm anti-Woo, but it's essentially part of the song at this point. At games, many fans don't even sing the chorus but just wait for the "Woo!". So what the hell, if Heup is in I suppose that settles it.
