Thats is a statement taken out of context.... it comes from one of the The Players Lounge interviews earlier in the season. When we'd played a bunch of 'road' night games In a row. IIRC it was Merklinger who mentioned it and Gaston pointed out that's just road night games. You can check it out on YouTube.. TPL Tennessee.

Night games on the road suck. They hate flying in and sitting in a strange hotel all day. Also the riled up drunk fans. At home that experience is totally different when the riled up drunk fans are on your side.

We have played once midday this season. We have lost plenty of noon games and midday games over the years. Both teams have to wait the same amount of time, and most people would say that night games benefit the home team more.

The national Championship will be played at night, so if staying focused for a few extra hours is a problem for 20 year olds, maybe we deserve to lose.

Tennessee will beat Kentucky like a drum in Knoxville at night. Just call Will Levis and ask him.

Ok? We looked like ass against Arkansas who was embarrassed by LSU, A&M and OK State. We can do this all day. If the entire fan base is thinking like you it’s hard for it to not be contagious and come out looking like we don’t care.

It benefits our entire market if we want to gain exposure on the west side. That’s a 4:30pm Cali time. Nico has tons of family friends there too
