I just started a new job about 3 weeks ago working for a company that custom builds homes for people, and today I learned a horrible truth: the owner of my company is a die hard Florida Gator.

He went to Florida, he donates ten's of thousands of dollars to Florida every year, he takes his private jet to every football game, he has the gator logo stitched on the headrests of his 5 series BMW, he has a foyer named after him on the campus, and to top it off the colors he picked for the company are Florida Blue and Orange.

He randomly dropped in today (while the rest of us were doing the work of course) and he started talking about college football and I immediately sniffed him out as a Gator. All of my coworkers know I am a Tennessee fan and after he left they told me whatever I do, don't say anything bad about Florida or that I am a Tennessee fan. I told them I would have no fear in saying I am a die hard Vol For Life and a Gator Hater to the end.

But to think I still work for this guy...

I think I'm gonna be sick.

This thread reads like back door envy of someone who had smarts to build a company, make significant $$$, and enjoy the fruits of his labor. Congrats to him. Look up to our skyboxes, they are full of successful Vols and the parking lot across the street from stadium reflects that success. GBO
