Is he ever going to provide meaningful insight to this thread? Or is there some beef between the two of you? Was he an unfortunate receiver who met you across the middle?

We had a spirited exchange in a thread about Brittany Griner of all people...he got all preachy and told me I was blind to the love of God, among other things. He went straight up Westboro Baptist Church on me. :loco:

Then you have his drive-by post out of nowhere, having nothing to do with this particular thread topic, and you have a pretty good idea of what we're dealing with.

Recruits don't care about what you were, they care about what you are.

Now, some schools are very good at incorporating what they were into what they currently are and make that part of their identity, that's fine.

However, these kids were all toddlers when Tee Martin played here. These kids want good facilities (check for both Oregon and UT), win (check for Oregon... UT, well, has been UT) and get to the NFL (Oregon has 2 1st Rounders and 6 2nd since 2009; UT has produced 4 1st Rounders and 2 2nd).

Oregon has won a hell of a lot more and put more guys into the NFL in meaningful rounds than UT has. Their facilities are definitely top-notch but so are UT's. They're a different kind of "nice". Though I'm honestly biased, I prefer UTs. It's classical architecture and it will look nice in 5 years, 15 years, 50 years. That doesn't go out of style.

UT fans should be proud of their facilities without having to feel like dredging up history that is almost 20 years past as justification as to why UT is better. Point is... it isn't. Oregon has UT beat in just about every meaningful category over the last ~5 years which is what matters to the guys on the field.

Very nice facility. Their stadium only seats 54,000 though.

We keep hearing rumors that they'll add another 12000 to the stadium in the near future. They just did a remodel on the North side of the stadium, I suspect that was done as the first step to adding 12,000 seats on the north side of the stadium. We'll see...... Just long as the acoustics are equal or better in the future I'll be happy.

It's a fun place on Saturdays when it's at average 106% of capacity.
