Unborn babies are equal to slaves in many ways

don't forget the whole reason democrats really pushed abortion was to limited the number of black babies. I'd say they've done well in accomplishing their goal.

Why would their goal be to limit the number of black Americans considering 97%(not sure of exact percentage) vote D? Oh, that's right.... they're racist.:ermm:

Slaves were considered sub-human and were butchered. Even blacks in the MLK walks wore signs that said "I am a MAN" to show they were they deserved to be treated like a real man and an equal.

Slaves were also butchered as aborted babies are.

The process to abort a baby is very, very barbaric and if you are well read on the subject you know how late stage abortions work.

It is a fair example.

I am sorry that we were not able to have an open discussion here due to your bias towards me.

It could and maybe might still be an honest, debate.

I am only asking that if you can not be unbias towards me in this thread than to stay out of it.

Once again the proper term is fetus, not baby.

I am not much of a proponent of the Platonic soul; I am much more Aristotelian, where the soul is intellect. I do not know when the 'soul' enters the body; I do not know where it comes from; I do not know where it goes after the body dies.

Ah, well I would say that you don't believe in a "soul" at all in the traditional sense of the world. "Soul" for you would just be the ruling rational faculty of rational beings.

If what you say is true, that's very counterproductive to their political agenda don't you think?

It is actually on record that one of the democrat SCj voted for abortion to keep the black population down.

She even stated it a NYT's article.

Ginsburg: Abortion Reduced Undesired 'Populations' | Drudge Retort

To me this sums up abortion.

1. How did Ginsberg 'vote' on this? She was not appointing to the SCOTUS until 1993.

2. This is what she said: " Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don't want to have too many of. "

This is called speculation, not endorsement nor support of said view.

Did you think that I would not read the article?

Not once did Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg mention race. Nor did she mention politics outside of the case which brought up whether abortion would be paid for by Medicaid.

I don't want to ever see you lash out at LG being a "bigot" or a "racist" ever again. Look in the mirror. You are obviously no different.

Think I'll just set back and enjoy this one... I don't see any way this thread is going to end well.

If there is 'life' in a full-term fetus, there is life in the second trimester, first trimester, and in the zygot. A zygot is nothing other than a sperm attached to an egg. Scientifically, nothing external is added at that moment; therefore, there is either no soul in the zygot or there is a soul in either the egg or the sperm.

Contraception is a willful act taken in order to keep the egg and the sperm from joining (of course, there are even forms of contraception which simply keep a fertilized egg (a zygot) from attaching to the wall of the uterus), thus ultimately and voluntarily willing the death of a soul, if there is a soul in the fetus.

Contraception is a willful measure taken so that one can enjoy bodily pleasures without the consequence of having child; both contraception and abortion kill off a soul if one claims that a fetus has a soul.

This is the most absurd thing you have ever put on this board and that's saying a lot. My wife was a virgin when I married her but had been on birth control for 4 years because it helped keep her from getting terrible sickness once a month for a few days.

Get a freakin clue.

Just because some wingnut wrote an op-ed making this proclamation doesn't make it true nor does the fact that it supported your already predetermined opinion on the matter.

add tormenting pj for something no one should be tormented about.

no worries since my conscience is clear and after quite a few disappointments we now have a perfect son at home. However someone that knowingly brings a child into this world that will spend its short life in pain should probably reevaluate their life choices.

1. Did you wife willfully take the contraception?

2. Is one of the consequences of taking contraception that one cannot get pregnant?

3. Does contraception willfully destroy the potential for life/soul?

4. By 'terrible sickness' are you referring to the natural state of the female body when working properly during menstruation?

Since that does not answer any of the questions, I will simply repost them:
