This offense has acheived a tremendous amount of success given the talent on the O-line. They have not fared quite as well against great defenses. Check all of my posts in this thread. I am simply saying the team should incorporate Crompton in a role that is not limited to mop up duty.
Let me just say that Crompton is not mop up duty, he's the backup. When Ainge is gone, Crompton wil get his chance, that's generally how the system works. Unless Crompton is playing better than Ainge, then he sits and waits his chance. Most everyone on here is right, too, that Ainge has played great and put up good solid numbers. He had one bad half, probably just rusty, we always play like crap the first half after a bye week. Finally, let me add, does anyone remember last year when tried incorporting two qb's? Ainge's confidence is at its highest, and so long as it remains there, the better he plays. The last thing we need is him getting thoughts about Crompton creeping up his back.
