Last week when the people outside were spraying it with a water hose, the kid put his hand to it and his hand got wet. He said its like a strainer if I remember correctly, I'm guessing that helps with the air. Plus there is plant life inside the dome.

Finally got caught up on the episodes. Looks to be pretty decent. It will keep my attention a little longer I guess.

As long as these ratings keep up, it wouldn't surprise me to see this show brought back for another season next summer. From what I've read, there's no closure in this season.

I think it's protective, by aliens probably, from what I'm not sure. Stars are falling initially made me think comets or meteors crashing to earth. But that seems a little too obvious.

I thought that too but I agree that is pretty obvious im thinking aliens or divine for protection or experimentation

So far they have really set everything up well, hopefully the payoff isn't a let down. The government attacking it this week will probably shed a little more light into what it is.

"Pink stars are falling in lines."

Dome pollution changes visible colors is one theory.

So the very first episode of this series had me disappointed. I read all 1000+ pages of that big ass Stephen King book, which I enjoyed (and I'm not a Stephen King fan typically). So I had high expectations for the series...as these episodes keep coming, I continue to get more and more optimistic. Turning out to be an interesting summer series.

I've never read the book so I don't know what's going to happen. Here is my theory on the dome. It was set there by extraterrestrials due to an impending cataclysmic event. The dome will protect those and still give earth hope for a future.
