Under The Dome

I've never read the book so I don't know what's going to happen. Here is my theory on the dome. It was set there by extraterrestrials due to an impending cataclysmic event. The dome will protect those and still give earth hope for a future.

This is something that has crossed my mind but then why chesters mill why a whole town I am truly puzzled but excited

Glad I haven't read the book as it might hamper my enjoyment. Movies/shows are rarely as good as the book. IMO That being said I love this show so far, I already can't wait for the next episode.

She was let out of the shelter and 5 minutes later she's comforting the guy that trapped her there, absurd!

Next weeks episode where it's raining inside the dome is a complete change from the book. Not that that is a first or anything but it's kind of a big change.

I read the book a LONG time ago so I've forgot what's happened

The book came out in Nov 2009. :)

She kinda had to...whatever she needed to do to dispel his crazy in that moment.

Have sex with him, cuddle him, hold his hand, fix his wounds....do whatever you gotta do to make him think that its safe to let down his guard so u can escape.

...And the realization that, in 5 minutes, that missile was coming to destroy everything and you have no way to get anywhere to be safe.

Hope so, guess we'll see next week.

I missed Mondays episode, where can I get caught up?

Or, Amazon if you have a Prime account. Even though I still think that the acting with half the characters is subpar, at best, I'm still intrigued by the plot. So, still following at this time.

Just watched the previous episode. If the MOAB didn't destroy the dome, then nothing will. It was interesting seeing everything outside of the dome turn into a wasteland.

Big Jim is doing some big time maneuvering to cover himself. This plot gets more intriguing every week. I've really caught on.

The end of this article definitely confirmed my belief. They just concluded filming the season finale and it ends with a major cliff hanger. There is no closure, so the producers of the show are banking on CBS bringing the show back next summer. The way the ratings have been increasing each week and are already at a high number, I'm very confident it will return next summer.

I'm not sure what to think of this though. Now, the show is going to move at a slower pace instead of picking up pace to fit this into one season.

I do like the idea of a series over a miniseries more of a wait but more entertaining

Tonight's episode didn't reveal too much about the plot, except that the two teens are unknowingly involved with the dome in some form or fashion.

Apparently, we'll find out something major in the 7th episode, which is next week.

LOL!

So without giving anything away, I'll tell you that the book that this show is based on is actually a very good read. It is long, but at the same time fairly fast paced. It gets you invested in the characters and keeps you wanting more. For what it is though it comes to an abrupt, conclusive, yet somewhat twisted end that still manages to leave you scratching your head. I don't know how the show will end as some things in it are already different.

Big Jim Rennie and that Redneck farmer will be a nice feud going forward. The plot gets better every week.
