Comedy of errors, both physically and mentally, continue for this program. Lazy passes that show little consideration for valuing possession of the basketball, inability to hit point blank shots, failure to stop the go to players on the opposing team from dribble penetration...and the beat goes on. Nearly 7 minute stretches without scoring a single point, an offensive graveyard directed by a head coach who who has managed to "dumb down" the skills of a formerly feared scorer. Program is going nowhere until there is a change in Knoxville!

Where the program is going... is out of the Top 25. More than a decade ranked... and a team with this much talent can't keep it going. What a disgrace to Pat and all she stood for and worked so hard to build.

SAD, I really have no words for what I am watching this season... Just really a disgrace to Lady Vol basketball and the tradition that Pat built and left behind!!!

Oh gosh. Did they play again tonight? Ugggh.

No need for new threads. Just go back to past games and change the opponent's name. Info will be the same.

It is sad to watch. Holly is not a good coach and should move on. The end of that game and third quarter was awful!

Holly is not a good motivator. Players may like her personally but they do not play hard for her which means they do not respect her.

Teams take on the persona of their head coach. This team like their coach has a case of the un's. Unorganized, uninspired, unreliable, undisciplined and above all under qualified.

Deshields' EIGHT turnovers keep the team from having a chance to win. She would not be starting if Pat was still coaching. Somehow Holly is blind to the obvious.

I think that is the problem. She wants them to like her so that she can motivate them. This tactic is obviously failing. A leader is a leader and Coach Warlick is not doing that.

This is a very poorly coached team of all-stars. I've said it before and I'll say it again, go after Dawn Staley. She took nothing in the middle of nowhere and made a good team of them. She would be a great hire for Tennessee to replace the Legend.

She probably wouldn't turn the ball over like that if she had real coaching. This team has usually had no idea what to do on offense, and that lack of direction and clarity leads to stupid decisions.

At what point do the wheels just come off? Lose to MSU, drop out of the Top 25, watch fan support dwindle, get blown out by SCAR, hit double digit losses... then what? How bad can this get?

I think you may be on to something with your comment. There is something terribly wrong with this team and it is not talent. They are loaded with talent but are not performing. Why? Lack of coaching? That is the first consideration but I propose that not having a point guard to lead this team on the floor is killing them. Tea scored some points this game and last game but she is a freshman and thus far has not risen to the occasion. Diamond can be great...she has proven...but is horribly inconsistent. Someone needs to take control of this team on the floor and it is not Diamond or Tea. That ship has sailed. So who will it be? In the absence of a competent head coach, who takes this team and makes it a Lady Vol quality team...one that wins the games they have to win? I don't know. But I
think your original comment warrants a discussion.

Besides winning and losing...do any of you understand the way the roster has changed...remember, there are girls playing in this system that were on the bench for a long time...we are not robots...are we...this is not over...we'll get better and next year this team will be unbelievable...
and the effort that these girls put against a UK team, like they did...how about let's agree to disagree...:)

She has kept Cooper in games where she was just terrible. I am not getting that. If you watch the great coaches and really, just the ones that know what the heck they are doing, when a player is under performing, they take them out of the game. Not Warlick. She keeps playing them, bad play, bad shot, turnover after turnover. I see improvement in Coopers shooting but at what cost? They lost again tonight. Tonight, Diamond should have spent some time on the bench. Especially in the second half.

Graves should be playing a 40 minute game. She sat on the bench the third quarter and watched the score dwindle. She doesn't deserve this her Senior year. She is a leader for this team. Holly has no respect for her; she benches her and lets the players that make turnovers (over and over again) stay in the game. She and Carter could have lead this team to get a win. How sad for Graves. Holly and her staff need to go!!!!

No. we. do. not. understand. what. is going. on. (said robotically). Last year, I was thinking, wow, wait til next year with Diamond, Mercedes, etc, etc. I guess now we can wait til next year...then next year. We didn't have to do all of this waiting when we had a real coach.
