I like how everyone is all into the black jersey look? Why not just take Orange, our REAL color, and make the jersey design Bad a$$?

The orange one doesn't look like carbon fiber it looks like cheap diamonds. Made me think of a Paris Hilton accessory.

We consider ourselves "traditionalists" because our program has...tradition. Oregon doesn't have shat. They're the flavor of the month, Johnny Come Lately program everyone is currently in love with.

I'm not comparing the programs historical relevance, obviously TN is in a different league. Point being their uniforms are the primary reason they are now legit, been to numerous BCS games, and competed in a NC. If they stayed with their "traditional uni's" this is not even a conversation.

Coach Jones hinted on the radio today that some different uniform things will probably happen in the future. Different color schemes. Didn't mention specific colors. He did say UT will never wear black helmets.

The official colors have been so, since 1891, however the uniform colors have included black in them (1914). Which begs the question, "How much more traditional could we get than by going black on occasion?"
I wish "the traditionalists" would get over themselves. We're not talking about different uni's for every game...

I think part of the reason the orange on orange looked better in the O&W game is because of the new techfit jersey and getting the colors to match right.

gave it some thought. those helmets are for recruiting, the VOLS will likely wear them once and depending on whether we win or lose, we may not see them again

I think it would cool to have some baby blue incorporated into the Uniform to honor Pat Summit. Maybe have a Summit day or something. I am all for the black jerseys, but don't mess with our helmet. The helmet is awesome!
