Don't know if there will be any uniform changes this year. I believe we will wear the gray ones in a home game this year. But there will be uniform changes next year when Nike is on board.

No, Hart (and DeerPark) have both said the order was already put in for the uniforms. No changes were ordered on the uniforms.

Although I think Hart mentioned something about playing around with some different helmet concepts (and if any where used it would be a limited use thing).

The team will have the same three jersey styles and the same three pairs of pants available as last year. No additional uniforms are planned at this time.

Just to be clear, this was the plan even before Tennessee made the move to leave adidas after this year. They are on a two-year design cycle.

Also, don't expect major changes when Nike takes over. There will be teaks, a different name/number font, but expect the home and away to remain very similar. There will always be a once-a-year alternate, and the third color will be still be smokey gray.

But if you're expecting Nike to roll out with something super-modern for Tennessee, you're going to be disappointed.

I like last years uniforms. I hope they never change. The only thing I would like to see, like somebody already mentioned, would be a gray helmet for the alternates.

Any chance we ever mix the gray with the other uniforms? For example grey tops with orange pants, vice versa.

I would like to see a gray helmet with the T having an orange and white checkerboard pattern on it to go along with the gray jerseys.

I guess I would qualify as an old guy.

Young guy checking in (25). Get rid of the grey's and for the love of god do not change the helmet or add an alternate. No black either.

Give me last year's unis minus the "tire tread" pattern on the jerseys and the double stripes on the pants. Put the Power T back on the front of the hip like it used to be back in the 90's. Throw in a matte-grey helmet with orange "T's" to go with the grey uniforms and we'll be good to go.

Hopefully we wear the greys again but maybe with a matching helmet. That white dome looked horrible in those.

I heard that they have a orange and white camo uniform in the works...


I hope they make them checkerboard to help the receivers get open in the end zones
