Uniform/Helmet/Shoe design thread (merged)

Maybe we could just go all pink. Pink helmets. pink uniforms and above all pink shoes and socks. We need to get as far away from the orange and white as possible. That seems to be what a lot want on this site. Stick with what this school's tradition has been as long as I can remember.

Its the same argument every time. You guys think what you like personally, is more important than what the actual team, coaches, and university want to do and you attach "tradition" to it to rationalize what is essentially just your opinion. How about you guys have a little faith in the program you love, enjoy the ride, and remember that there is a T on the side of the helmet, not your name. I have been watching the Vols for almost 30 years and I don't fret over the uniforms, I just enjoy and cheer for the team because I am a fan, not a GM.

I don't mind an alternative uni for 1 game but IMO the greys were the worst looking uni I have ever seen UT wear. I would go traditional orange and white for home games with all-orange thrown in for a couple of games. Road uniforms looked better with orange pants, would stay away from all white.

Nike is in love with chrome. I wouldn't be surprised to see a chrome dome alternate helmet for one game. I honestly loved the gray until I found out that 10 other Adidas teams got the same exact gray and they just called it "smokey" to make us feel special. I hope the gray goes with Adidas.

Never change the white helmets. Take the "Tennessee" off the front, everyone in the world knows us by the power T and the orange. I do like the outline of the state of TN on the back.

For the away unis, please go back to the black outline on the numbers. It looked so badass

Really like the gray Uni's , but we need a dang win in them first . The black Uni's are 1-0 just saying. Keep them all and let the cards fall.

Don't really care what they wear (as long as it doesn't get stupid). Main thing I want to see is wins in whatever they wear.

I thought I liked the black outline too, but the orange numbers with no outline looks so clean

A lot of people want to see a gray helmet. I wouldn't mind really but I really kind of liked the white with the gray uniforms. It didn't match at all but I think that is what I liked about it.

You can't argue that the original helmet doesn't scream Tennessee, and on top of the gray it really stood out.
