Here's a generational question for the board.

Old School vs. New School:

Old School- Alabama, PSU, USC, Tennessee, ND

New School- Oregon, Baylor, West VA, Maryland, Boise State

Are you new school or old school? Boring Friday, figured I'd start something (probably a re-hash). Pick your side.

I'm inclined to go with New School.

I'm more of a new school lean...to a point. Oregon looks like they are trying to be the first football team on Mars.

Breaking out something cool every once in a while is good enough for me.

People like to say they help/hurt recruiting. I'd ask Alabama what they they thought of that...

Not football, but my favorite uniforms I've seen so far are the highlighter green/yellow jerseys Baylor basketball breaks out every once in a while. I guess that's the epitome of new school.

I am definitely old school, but I am over 40 that is probably why. I do like the smokey gray uniforms for maybe a game a year. Didn't really care for the black uniforms and don't really understand why so many people want black uniforms.
I don't like the Nike "Pro Combat" uniforms at all.

Overall old school with 1 alternate/new school uniform.

There's nothing wrong with something new once and a while, but there's also nothing wrong with having a set classic look.

I am Old School. As we know, things come in to fashion and go out of fashion then they come in to fashion again. Convertables, log cabins, cowboy boots,
Throwback NFL uniforms, etc.



If one wants to change uniforms for the sake of changing uniforms, then "No" don't change them. We saw what 5 plus years of change has already gotten us.

If the uniforms we have now become unstylish, then wait and they will come back in to fashion.

I wish Tennessee and Alabama would both wear the traditional home uniforms each year for the game. The old pics of that looked sweet. I like being able to turn on the TV and know who is on the field and I think any where in the country when the orange is on the field it is a recognizable brand.

I like old school, especially in the NFL. San Diego, Miami and TB all had awesome uniforms. Now they don't look near as good. What was TB thinking with their new uni's? That flag is way too big.

I like tradition but its always nice to thrown something new in there. With that being said Oregon's uniforms are horrible but that's to be expected with zero tradition.

I am mostly an old school type of guy. However, if we change it up once a year I won't mind.
