Vandy fumbled. It was called down by refs, but the review should overturn that and give us the ball. Yet another break for us. Good tackle and forced fumble.

Vandy could be up 28-7 right now if it weren't for these big plays on defense (or Vandy screw-ups, take your pick). Most importantly, we got the ball and prevent them from getting a FG at minimum.

DOdging bullets seems to be our approach tonight. Need to get this under control now. Let's see what the offense can do.

Neal with a good run for 6 yards.

Another run. Not much. Sets up a third and 2 from the 24 yard line.

Dobbs with a big run out to the 34 yard line. Nice moves again. Now, if he could just figure out how to complete a pass that isn't behind the line of scrimmage or to the other team's defenders.

What number is Reeves-Maybin? I'll look for him.

More bad passing for Dobbs. We got bailed out by a targeting penalty on Vandy. Puts us at the Vandy 45.

Pass complete (maybe) to our reciever. A close play. It's under review. Even when Dobbs makes a decent throw, our receivers can't seem to make a clean catch.

James Franklin's antics on the sideline over the call are extremely irritating. He is one of the biggest idiots around. I don't care how "good" of a coach he is. The guy is an a$$hat. Reminds me of Carlton from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, only not funny.

The review is on-going. Could go either way.

Ladler was ejected. Personally, I don't like that. He wasn't trying to make a dirty play.

Ruled incomplete. Can't really complain. Our sorry reciever can't seem to catch even when Dobbs manages to make a decent throw.

Another poor throw by Dobbs on third down. Too high. Yet again, we look like crap.

Palardy's punt is downed inside the 10.

Dobbs doesn't look like an SEC QB. He hasn't all year. I'm hoping that he can figure this thing out.

Defense came up with a stop.

There was a tackle for loss on 3rd down. Jaques Smith busted the play in the backfield but whiffed on the tackle . . . BAD . . . luckily, Walls was there to finish it off. Otherwise, might have been a short gain.

We have the ball on 48.

Big run by Neal puts us on the 41.

Nice screen pass to Neal for a first down. Puts us on the 24 yard line.

Haven't seen Reeves-Maybin on defense yet tonight. I'll keep looking.

Lane with a run to put it at 3rd and inches. He almost fumbled on that run. Close again.

Lining up for a play . . . the third quarter ends first. Going to be third and inches for the first play of the 4th quarter.

Dobbs run for a TD . . . but it's coming back for a penalty on Pig Howard (block in the back). Definitely the right call.

Another Vandy player down with an injury. Hate to see that. Regardless of how much I dislike them. All Vandy d-backs are now out. If we can't complete a pass against this bunch, there is no hope.

Going backwards . . . started at the Vandy 13, now backed up to the 30.

Playing for field goals now. This is bad.

Palardy coming out for the kick.

A fake kick . . . really? We failed. Miserably. I am now officially wondering what the hell our coaches are doing.

Vandy deserves to win this one as bad as we look right now. We can't score. Our ST play is beyond bad. Coaching doesn't look great either. That decision to run a fake kick was a head-scratcher. Feels like the Dooley days again.

Here we go . . . Vandy QB starting to make some runs.

Luckily, we kept contain on a third down play. Sapp made a good tackle. It's about time.

And there is no need to go to the official thread now. I know what it's like to be deployed and not be able to watch the game. Many deployments over the past couple of years. I'll keep typing until my fingers fall off to keep the news flowing!!!!!!
