Updated 247 player rankings

It's absolutely unbelievable. They wonder why we perceive bias against them? Teague is suddenly a top 50 player after committing to OSU without having played a game, and Mays, a 5 star everywhere else, drops 14 spots without having played a game. Unreal.

247, of all the sites is notorious for that.

Mike Farrell and Woody Wommack are going to drop every UT player by 100 spots just to maintain their edge in bias against the Vols.

Miami and OSU fans are drilling Barton & 247 about most of their commits ranking drops. They are bringing up old quotes and old positive articles on how well they performed at the opening only to have their new rankings not match.

Rivals > 247

Then. Now. Forever.

247 is killing themselves by churning out so many Bleacher Report-style clickbait articles. Plus, the autoplaying videos are pure cancer on their website.

Their forums are also hideous and hard to navigate with so many posts being locked behind paywalls.

Rivals looks cleaner and the message boards are much better, IMO (although the regulars on VQ can be intolerable at times).

Terrible content.

Plus, they employ Wes Rucker.

Plus, they employ Wes Rucker.

That's the deathblow. I also hate that they took Patrick Brown from the Times Free Press. He's too talented to work for them, IMO, and it leaves a void for good Vols coverage in East TN.

Well that is such a great real game scenario!

None of it is real game scenarios. We all know the sites rank a lot based on camp performances, so we can't be surprised when a camp performance bumps or drops a guy. That's not saying it's right or wrong, but it is how things are done.
