Some of those affiliations lasted for decades, so I could understand why some people don’t like it. Over the years, the Twins had lots of guys go through Elizabethton, for example.

It really was! To see, Tidwell and Gilbert go at it was the biggest bonus ever! Tidwell got the best of him and 8 other guys in his 3 IP.

We gonna have to replace a lot, but we are loaded gentleman, we are loaded!!!

The coverage of the MLB draft sucks.

Like for example how today’s picks seem to have only been announced via audio on the mlb website, huh???

It’s really a similar situation. They really had no room to expand in their long time stadium.

Cleared the top of a hill on campus and the results are glorious.

Yeah man, 2500 seats, guesstimating 1000, 1500, in attendance maybe…I was shocked. I stopped in Mosheim to get some Q at Abigails, it was raining…we soldiered through, and we got to see Tidwell and Gilbert playing for USA…they play against the Olympic team in a few days…the best part was the people around us, parents of the closer from Miami, parent from VT…you guys know me, I like to learn, I learned a lot, well worth the trip.

Yeah I get it. I worked for thr K Mets for a few years and it sucked to see them go, but nothing we can do.

I have friends who grew up in the area that became NYM fans because of their Kingsport affiliate. Those same connections won’t be made anymore, unfortunately.
