I concur. However, I think Fabian will ultimately regret this decision if he does return to Florida. I don't think his stock is going to improve that drastically.

Yeah, seems like a boneheaded move on his part. He’ll have less leverage in the future and teams will remember this and potentially blackball him, in part to discourage other players.

I’m guessing it’s just a negotiating ploy on his part. I’d expect he’ll sign

Now that Pav has signed with the Orioles, the ones that haven't signed yet are Leath, Spikes, Halvorsen, and House. If I recall correctly, the signing deadline is August 1. I also think Halvorsen is coming to campus.

I'd drop a brick if House and/or Spikes didn't sign by the deadline.

That neither House nor Spikes have signed yet and have until August 1st to do so. I’m not very optimistic but the thought of seeing one or both in orange next year, got me excited.

Yes, agreed, we’ll be alright! Would’ve loved him to be in our lineup, but there’s still plenty of talented players on our team.

Keep winning. Keep hosting Regions/Super Regionals, and then this will change. Burns deciding to stay was a huge first step to getting this type of talent, but once we win with more consistency I feel we'll be able to keep even more of these top talents. Still, this is a blow. He would have been huge for this lineup.
