I think it’s more that both Kentucky and Missouri are 5-0 at this point. Kentucky blew out Florida (who beat Tennessee in a game UT performed really poorly in) and Missouri also has a bit of a better win than UT does (Kansas State was ranked when Missouri beat them, and they’re still sitting right outside the rankings as a one loss team).Tells you how much they think of South Carolina. Missouri jumps us by beating Vanderbilt by a smaller margin.
They’re both 5-0. We’re getting to the point in the year where records are starting to matter a bit more toward rankings. How do you beat the crap out of a conference team and drop, regardless if they are ranked or not??? At worse we should have stayed put
Thus far our resume (to use a basketball term) isn't exactly overwhelming. They’re both 5-0. We’re getting to the point in the year where records are starting to matter a bit more toward rankings.
Not helping either: Kentucky blew out Florida (who beat Tennessee in a game UT performed really poorly in) and Missouri also is a bit better in the better wins department than UT (Kansas State was ranked 15th when Missouri beat them, and they’re still sitting right outside the rankings as a one loss team).
