That’s generally correct for this time of year. This is usually where the shift starts to start coming in to adjust for undefeated major conference teams.Imo, they do go by win/loss record more than who you beat or who you lose to. We take care of business and beat Ky, and Mo. we will move ahead of them.
And yes, if UT beat them, they’d move ahead of them (honestly, either would easily become the team’s best win of the year so far).
Not helping unfortunately: Kentucky blew out Florida (who beat Tennessee in a game UT performed really poorly in) and Missouri also is a bit better in the better wins department than UT (Kansas State was ranked 15th when Missouri beat them, and they’re still sitting right outside the rankings as a one loss team). UT’s best win right now is either South Carolina or UTSA I would guess.
