Personally, I see Justin Hunter as just the latest of a long line of players being way overhyped by UT fans. He's a decent player. He will probably end up being a good player in future years - maybe even very good. However, I don't see this guy being a superstar.

Hunter was thrown in before he was ready with a bunch of other inexperienced players and is still playing better than many guys considered UT greats as a Fr. He may or may not be great but he definitely has the potential to be one of the greatest the SEC has ever seen.

Yeah too bad BB isn't still at UT... he could be running up blockers' backs on every play. That would help.

Uneducated TROLL..JMHO,

I don't think this guy could understand another endless explanation of what is happening with this team...It's painfully obvious what going on with our 63 scholarship players to 98% of the fans on this site, he is in the 2% I guess...

Please explain what I am missing that is painfully obvious? We are young and have no depth? Do you have an original thought or would you like to spout of more of what someone else told you was acceptable to believe about the Vols?

I am sorry I thought the purpose of blogs and message board forums were for people of similar interest to come together and have enlightened discussion and debate to better inform the larger audience. If my "troll opinion" offends you then please respond to my post on who exactly your X Factor superstar that will lead Tennessee back into prominence instead of the BS response you led with.

I am simply asking those "educated" and informed people on this site like you apparently think you are who the wow player in our future will be.

Yeah personally, He's no AJ. Green or J.Jones. He's just a little taller and uh, faster and uh, has better grades and uh younger. I agree he has no chance to be that good really...

Hunter may have the longest arms that I have ever seen on a WR. It look like he has a 7ft wingspan. He may be thin, but I agree with the others.... next year should be a real force. He has shown a good ability to take so big hits. He will only get better....

Felt we missed it the first time so needed to make sure we got the point and the regurgitated mess you read on Rivals again?

However good Hunter will be, which I pray he is a BEAST. Tell me one Wide Receiver that has led his team to a national championship? Tell me the last wide receiver to win the Heisman? Beyond that, who the heck is gonna get him the ball?

Like I constantly say, I hope I am wrong I am merely asking for insight.

Hell I am not getting into a measuring contest with such an obvious superior person. You can't seem to answer my questions and basically trying to call me out for something you know nothing about (troll). Can we please get back to trying to find out what our recruits and future vols thought of the worst lose to Alabama in Tennessee history was?

Your statement" rebuild or not". Real problem there. In your opinion are we rebuilding or not. How on earth is the Bryce Brown loss effecting or going to effect this team or situation. How do u tell whether an eighteen year old man is going to be dominant or not,? Just curious. Last but not least, you are not the only fan finding it hard to watch our Vols right now, however you have chosen to look at our future in a negative light, voicing your opinions that we don't have a future QB or leader instead of waiting to see if we do. I believe that you are in the minority on your opinions even though you have the right to spew them. I choose to believe that we will not be a middle of the road SEC team in 3-4 years and replied as such.

I'd just like to see whether Worley or Bray or Nash or next years QB recruit may be able to do it before someone says THEY CAN'T. Thats all.

Did u or anyone else know any 18 year old QB's were gonna win Hiesmans or NC's before they did?

You can be a leader from any position on the field. Leaders are born. Just my humble opinion.

I have not..... RS right?

Yes, I'm really hoping they move him back to WR. If Wylie can put some good weight on him & Meline will stay & dedicate himself into learning the playbook & have the work ethic to run good routes he could be a decent-good reciever for us. He was suppose to have good speed out of high school.

This statement doesn't get any smarter no matter how many times you post it.

Naming Auburn #1 at this point does not render his comment about enjoying Knoxville meaningless. Did you stop reading his quote after "leading," or are you simply trolling?

He likes French soccer. Double fail.

Hunter has been getting better and better and more involved each week. He did not have the hype as Rogers coming in IMP, but has been impressive with some of the catches. The last great WR that we had was Mecheam and remember he missed time with a knee which slowed his progression and still went out as a JR to the Pros. Both he and Rogers will be great before they leave. WR is one of the most difficult positions to make an impact from HS to College as well as College to PRO.

If we are naming players we think could man up next year and be a true team leader and playmaker....I will name Jacques Smith as one to watch. He has all the talent in the world, is built like a junior, and that hit on King is still something I could watch about 40 times a day! I think Big Jacq will put it on for Tennesee. JMO Go Vols!

You must be watching a different Justin Hunter than I'm watching. He is tall, fast, leaps like a freak, and has great hands. He might be :superman:

As far as Hunter, he has great potential, that;s for sure, I would like to see him get more aggressive and go after the ball when possible.

Like I said previously, he's overhyped.

You're right. He's only our second leading receiver in yards and TD's and has the highest YPC on the team. He sucks. As a freshman, I would expect him to have twice as many TD's and yards as the senior receivers on the team.
