Clearly Urban Meyer wasn't all that good a coach before Tebow came along....and Percy Harvin, Aaron Hernandez, the Pouncey twins, Brandon Spikes, Joe Haden, Jermaine Cunningham and on and on.

UF practically recruits itself. Meyer barely had to left a finger to get those kids to come to Gainesville. Nevermind most of those guys I mentioned came from outside of Florida.

He was absolute garbage at Bowling Green and Utah too.....you wonder what the fuss is about this guy leaving UF.... :question:

So what? If Phil Fulmer didn't have Peerless Price, he doesn't win one.

If Gene Chizik didn't have Cam Newton, he not only doesn't win a national title, he's fighting to be bowl eligible.

Meyer successfully recruited Tim Tebow, and put him in a system where he was able to succeed. For that achievement, he should get the credit, not "well, if he hadn't had him..."

And where that is concerned, I don't think Tebow would have done as well without Meyer. It's like Bill Walsh and Joe Montana in the NFL. They were both good on their own, but not great. Put them together and you can win the Super Bowl four times in nine years.

You still here? The bottom line is, his feelings got hurt because he got his butt whooped, times got tough couldn't hack it and QUIT!! Say what you will about coach Fulmers last 5 years here but when times got tough by god he would stayed in there in there and faught to the death just like them old Volunteers at the Alamo!! Cryer is soft
