It will be a very tough sell. Shelley is great (I've only met her once, but some of my co-workers are close with her), but she's made no secret about how close her and the other coaches wives are. They regularly have parties for "the girls" during the season at the Meyer House at Muirfield Village. Personally, I don't see anyway Shelley would know and not go to Urban about it.

It's a sucky situation for all involved, for sure! I'm definitely more upset with him than her, if he does know, because as the CEO of the team, he is fully responsibile for letting that scumbag keep coaching young men, and not getting that poor woman help.

It is.

If. (Big if IMO) she knew but tells investigators that she never did tell Meyer then she has firmly place herself in a bad spot IMO. At least from a public perception.

The other angle is if she didn't but someone else did and that is testified to or proven. She has the same problem.

The only other option I see is that she did tell him and is willing to testify to that. Because more than likely there won't be a paper trail to prove a conversation between her and her husband over that. In that case, Meyer is in the crosshairs and she did what she could.

If she was as worried as it seemed in the communication she had with Courtney Smith, I cant believe that never made it to Urban through her. And she is far from the only person that knew that.

Sad situation all around.
