I think you grossly overestimate the advantage gained by bump rule violations.
Let me put it in this hypothetical.
Saban, Jones, and Meyer all at a game. After the game Meyer positions himself so to make sure he bumps into the recruit. He also has a few minute conversation about the game and a few specific plays that he would install for the kid. The other two coaches follow the rules and have no contact with the kid.
Is there an advantage gained here by cheating??
Why wouldn't he turn in his former school and a guy that he hired at said former school? Sounds like a slick move to me.
The best possible outcome here is Florida gets hit with sanctions and CUM gets a show cause for all the Hernandez skeletons.
Won't happen, but I can dream.
So Aaron Hernandez may have been identified in a 2007 murder. This would be while he was at Florida with Urban Meyer as the coach. If this is true, what is the likelihood NCAA looks into a cover up by Florida and Meyer? And, what is the likelihood of Penn State type sanctions being handed down?
