At the end of two years at tOSU, Meyer will have posted a 26-0 record, and will have another National Title.

This relies on tOSU beating Michigan State in Indianapolis, as well as beating an FSU squad minus Winston in the National Championship game. CUM probably cries so much because he has a horseshoe stuck up his ass.

Does the big upset mean I have to endure the Ohio State Buckeyes in the dad gum title game????????
No 4 Auburn takes down #1 Bama and tOSU beats a weak UM by 1. I wouldn't be surprised to see Auburn jump them this week. That's how I would vote anyways.

Nobody in their right mind is going to punish tOSU for beating Michigan in one of the biggest rivalries in college football, especially when the game was played at the Big House.

It is not necessarily the people as much as the computers. tOSU has a much much much weaker SOS. I think either Mizzou or AuBarn could pass them in the computers which plays a big role in this.

I am so sick of hearing how OSU is 24-0. ESPN is lobbying hard for them in the championship.

Wouldn't it be funny if auburn jumped ohio st

Was just listening to an announcer say that it could happen due to the fact the OSu has not beat a ranked opponent. I would love it if it did happen personally. I think MSU is going to give them all they can handle next week if not beat them!

What lobbying is required? There are four undefeated teams left, and FSU and tOSU are the best of that bunch. And, tOSU is 24-0 in their last 24.

That announcer is an idiot. tOSU beat Wisconsin (who was ranked #23rd at the time) and Northwestern (ranked 16th at the time). If you want to talk about beating opponents that are currently ranked, Wisconsin was 15th this weak, prior to losing to Penn State. They will not drop from the Top 25 for that loss.

Northwestern is 5-7 now and unranked. Ohio St is undefeated no one can argue that, But you can't say that they have played a tough schedule no matter how you want to look at it.

I never said they played a tough schedule. But, they have played and beaten at least one ranked team. That is a fact.

Further, to assert that b/c tOSU has not played anyone, they will struggle with MSU is ridiculous, since MSU has played an even weaker schedule.

Last years 12-0 has no bearing on this years title game.

Correct. This year's 13-0 (if and when they beat MSU) will suffice.

And Ohio St matches up well with Mich St, I think. Mich St has a solid D but no offense. Their offense will make enough plays and their D shouldn't really be challenged.

I could see MSU possibly beating OHSt; however, I think if Auburn wins the SECCG, they'll jump to #2.

Personally, I'd prefer to see Duke beat FSU

He was just making a point of how the computers are not going to like their strength of schedule at the end of the year and was eluding to the fact that the Big 10 has been down the last couple of years. Who cares if your 24 - 0 if your beating sup par opponents and only by 1 point at that.

Michigan State plays extremely well in East Lansing. Sparty is always built for windy and chilly atmospheres. The B1G Championship Game is inside at Lucas. I see tOSU running away with this one.

Yup, strength of schedule is going to hurt Ohio State in the polls.

Looking forward to the playoff starting next year..

The playoff will have just as much, if not more, controversy than the BCS. There is always going to be controversy around "left out" teams. #5 and #6 are always going to feel they got ripped off, unless there's some sort of chasm between #4 and #5.
