Uros embarrassed himself today

We are missing two key offensive and defensive pieces, both starters who are two of our better athletes, defenders, rebounders, mid-range shooting threats, etc. Add in Olivier being a no-show and that is three starters MIA and a 4th potential starter in Key. Santi, ZZ, Mashack and our 5 rotation are all we have had recently.

Let's see what happens if UK faces a healthy Vols team in the SECT. They may have swept us but would anyone trade records with them? Jeez does everyone forget how much we have beaten them under Barnes?

Glad you mentioned how he climbs their backs, he also gets by with it against other teams and the soft whistle he gets almost every time he is touched, Oscar goes over the back on almost every rebound and it is almost never called.

Yep, Oscar has perfected the arm bar & chicken wing. In fast motion you don’t notice it. Before the replay on one the announcer said he got away with one there and I think Awaka was called for the foul. The game is fast & the refs try their best but the game is too fast for them. Even watching replays last 2 minutes it takes them forever.
PS Uros just played 7 minutes he is hated by a lot of Volnation for some reason more than visitors.

To even mention Uros in the same breath as MJ, Reggie Miller, Laimbeer, Bird, etc is ridiculous. Those guys were all actually good at basketball and could back up any trash talk. He is much more like the annoying kid that shows up to open runs and ruins good competition because he actually sucks but still tasks trash and thinks he is good.

Uros is basically a big goon. If he wasn’t ours we would all hate him, but because he is our goon we ignore his antics.

I don’t have an issue with guys trash talking, but you better be able to back it up. Plav is a 24 year old 7 footer averaging 5 pts and 4 rebounds a game. He probably needs to be quiet every now and then.

There are a lot of players that play the role to get in a guy's head. You don't have to be able to back it up. Why, there's no infraction if you're terrible on Offense but you get in a guy's head. You're talking like someone that's never watched the game that has evolved into street ball and TV, SEC & National media has embraced it. It gives it that wrestling in your face persona that brings the audience numbers up $$$. Hes doing what a lot of guys that are role players do. Be the monster that one side hates and even they're own fans may hate, I don't love it, but it come from the street asphalt playground Ball and America has embraced and immortalized that mantra.

My take is that you can expect good/very good players to YAP at their opponents. Players like Uros should not yap. Just play and try harder to make baskets and free throws....

This coming from a player who pushes or holds on every single shot attempt is amusing. Also, Plavsic is the player who “shooshed” our students when they were doing the FU chant. Take it with a grain of salt.
