I am just pointing out that if what Obama said was a red line which he did not enforce, what Trunp said was a SUPER BRIGHT red line and it appears he is not reacting.

Trump is likely to say this is the end of it, which I applaud. But he would be backing down from his earlier threats, is my point.

Let's look at it this way.

In one situation those that were antagonizing and acting against our interests were told not cross this red line, and they did repeatedly, because they had no reason to believe the rhetoric was anything other than empty words...... Considering he just came off the apologize to anyone and everyone tour.

In the other situation those that were antagonizing and acting were struck a significant blow with no warning. We then told them any further provocation would result in further action. The offenders lob some missiles at what appear to be unoccupied targets to save face.

So in one instance a presidents policy was an utter failure, in the other it was a complete success with the enemy capitulating and he is able to avoid further escalation....... Yet here you are trying to spin it as a loss for him and us because you don't like the president.

Just give it up already.

Yeah. I'm sure the middle east will suddenly love America. While we're at it, they'll probably stop beating their women, African folks will end their slavery, and they'll stop raping kids in both places if trump resigns!!😄

He just knocked off one of the biggest and probably the most powerful terrorist mastermind on the plant , without a lose of American life in the “ retaliation “ . He’s not going to resign . If this holds and we can deescalate from all this you are probably going to be unhappy with the results . The smartest thing he can do now is reach out to Iran now publicly with his speech and reassure everyone he wants to work with them and get along . That would put their government in a bind .
