US State Department Stirring It Up With Iran...

Also, I too would like to see us get out of the sandbox as well...after we surrounded Israel with missile batteries to augment their marginal "Iron Dome" and armed then them to the teeth with air and ground equipment, even moreso than now. Would still need the airbases at incirlik, etc...or new ones nearby, we need to keep boots off the geound, but history has proven that we need to never let their be anu doubt that we own the skies other than over Russia...air superiority is paramount...any doubts that anyone has should have been removed when we decimated Baghdad in a matter of hours...while they lit up their own night sky with so much triple A that it looked like the 4th of july in Alcoa....we flew right past all that flak and surgically destroyed every single target that we wanted to, absolutely crippling that country...without communications, command control, electricity, food, water, or transportation...an enemy cannot fight a war. We took all of those things away at will....and then rolled in and claimed our victory. Doesnt really matter what forces you have on the ground if they cannot communicate, get orders from superiors, or even survive if they try to mobilize and move around...it was hard for me to watch the turkey shoot in the desert where we destroyed 10,000 tanks and armored trucks....i was pulling for them to surrender and get away from those vehicles. That may be the most lopsided victory in the mechanized era of warfare, I believe that it is

I agree that what you describe is impressive, and I agree that being capable of it is necessary. I’m talking about asking why we would do it in the first place.

Nope. I quit pretty early in the article after I got to the inflammatory evil lib rhetoric.

You have a habit I see of quitting articles or vids if they don’t live up to standard . I guess that’s cool but it lends itself to creating an echo chamber . 😉

There is a standard. BBC, NPR, Reuters, AP, something reputable. I wouldn't expect Red Hats to read an article or watch a video I found on r/politics from Mother Jones.

You do realize politifact is accused by conservatives as leaning left ? I read and post articles from CNN on here more than I do FOX mainly because of the echo chamber . Example if you see me post an article from FOX the odds of you even reading it is slim and none . But I can make the same argument in reverse using CNN and I get more responses than just MUH FOX .

Just quit quoting Fox and all will be good. :)

I didn’t I quoted a left leaning politifact for you then gave you one from the BBC . You ignored the first one as a “ right leaning” source lol
You remind me of Paulie from the Sopranos, without the cursing. I feel like Chris lol. My bad I've been watching the Sopranos here of late.

LOL! Paulie was a little rougher than I am and I don’t have grey hair on the sides . Think short hair with a grey Tennessee ball cap , about a 5 inch grey biker goatee and haven’t murdered anyone lately for disrespecting me . I really like the Sopranos also .

I didnt know thats why you had eagle in your name...while family is USAF..went to the academy twice as a kid bc my lifelong dream was to be an F15E pilot. Most beautiful, and in air superiority anyway, most capable airframe we have had in my lifetime. The E varieties with LANTIRN were really good at AtG strikes also from what i understand. Thats awesome bro. My walls were plastered with USAF lithographs of 15s, 16s, warthogs etc growing up. Had a large collection of models that i built hanging from the ceiling by fishing line as well in dogfights or bombing groups. Cool stuff. Dad did 26years , pappaw did 26 also.

That awesome man. Yea they're the love of my life too. My dad took me to an air show in Toronto when I was a kid and it came in from behind us, went right over top, and then straight up until it was out of sight over Lake Ontario.

That's awesome about your fam...I was medically retired at 12 years...took some damage ya know.

Otherwise I would have done my 24-30 years too. I'd go back today if they'd let me lol.

My family also has a rich tradition in the development and defending of our country. God bless you and yours!!

B-52 Bombers Land in Qatar as U.S. Naval Strike Group Approaches Persian Gulf

U.S. Air Force B-52 bombers ordered by the White House to deploy to the Persian Gulf to counter unspecified threats from Iran arrived at a major American air base in Qatar early Friday morning.

Unspecified threats? Is that what they call "bulls**t" nowadays?
