What makes you think they are top 10 worthy? Apparently UF will be passing more this season and with the better Wr's gone from last yrs mediocre passing game I just cant see it....
JMO, but I think that you guy's offense will look a lot like it did when Chris Leak was running it. May see quite a bit of running.

Tide's Roster Recipe : One cup of Shula leftovers (5) only 2 of which are projected starters, One gallon of Saban stars--Mix, Stir, Bake....Behold

I really don't care much for Pre Season Polls, but its the business. When asked about the poll, Coach Saban said he did not vote for his team as #1.

Tell that to whatever FCS team it was that hung with them. Who was the other Iowa homer that was actually here last football season?

I forget his name, but he loves Kirk Ferentz like North Koreans love Kim Il Sung. I think I banned him.

They aren't one of the 10 best teams in the country.

Last year Iowa finished 11-2, BCS win and a final ranking of 7th. Return 16 starters from that squad and the biggest games this year are at home.

10th is too low but pre-season rankings are fairly meaningless.

UNI led till the 4th and then had two back-to-back field goals on back-to-back plays blocked at the end, correct?

Correct, was not a long field goal either.

I was there, the crowd went from end of the world doom and gloom to jubiliation, back to end of the world and ending with jubiliation again. Was really a strange and eerie scene for a few minutes.

Basically, everyone did the ol deep sigh of relief, walked out and wondered where the year was going to go after that.

Iowa is vastly overrated. I think they'll lose at least 3 regular season games.

3 losses is a possibility, I'm leaning on 0-2 though. Possibly an early season toe stub at Arizona and then Ohio State will be tough as usual. We have that game at home though so I feel better about it.

Iowa won't just pick up a bunch of fluke wins this time around. I see them as little more than an okay team with a bad schedule.

If you keep saying it, it might come true. Wouldn't hold your breath though.

Yes, I realize you're trying to bait me into an argument.

I'm really not. I've had this argument with other Iowa fans. Some people (not saying you) have told me that Iowa has an outside shot at the national title, but in reality, they have about the same shot as Tennessee. None.

Given how many times in a row tosu has won the big ten I won't pick against them to lose the conference.

This isn't the place for me to shoving Iowa football down everyone's throats and expect to get takers so I will just agree to disagree.
