I think it's a good thread. 4% believe it was a coup organized by DJT, including OP.
To illustrate the absurdity of the delusion OP believes:
16% believe in Bigfoot.
33% of Millennials believe the Earth isn't round
36% believe in UFOs
45% believe in Ghosts.
50% believe Biden is doing a good job
This is hilarious.

I’d guess there were various factions from several anarchist groups, of which ANTIFA definitely fits, stoking the flames. This was an anarchist’s wet dream. And anybody that crossed the Capitol entry threshold without permission broke the law and is subject to consequences for their actions.

I’ve seen nothing that indicates this was a bunch of Trump supporters responding directly to Trump’s orders in breaching the building. That’s F-ing stupid.
This fake DJ wannabe told you it's a coup, now believe it and shut up.

Correct. 4% believe it was a Trump orchestrated Coup. So clearly we are all the problem.

It's just amazing how a bunch of the people in the capital said they were following Trump's orders- whom his aides say they he was cheering on- and only left the building once he called them off.

How many said “I’m an anarchist and I’m here to burn this MF-er down” and if they were do you think that is a response they would make Mr 4%er?

I don't believe anything either way. It's a virtual non-issue that has been blown to the skies. However, I do think it's hilariously hypocritical to completely discredit that ANTIFA infiltrated this and intentionally stoked some flames when so many lefties were convinced undercover police were starting riots in Minneapolis. Once again I don't have an opinion either way, but the cognitive dissonance of the left is truly amazing to witness. Who knew brain-washing was so effective.

I don't think Trump "planned" the incursion into the Capitol. I think he hoped that his supporters would go and make a lot of noise and he hoped that it would intimidate any member of the Congress not on his side.

I DO think that once it happened he was fine with it. Relished in it. Acted too slowly to tell people to cut it out just because it fed his ego. You can debate what level of moral responsibility he bears as a result, and politics of course infects that discussion so its kind of pointless.

The notion that Antifa had any role in it is just plain f'ing beyond stupid.

Well, they were dressed as Trump supporters cheering wildly as Trump addressed them, but I suppose it could have been anyone.
Imagine also being so stupid that you don't do the basic research to see that the 'rioting' within the capital happened before and during Trump's speech.

Doesn't sound like much of a coup if only 7 people were arrested with weapons, that's like an hourly thing in Chicago.
"In all, police recovered a dozen guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition from seven people who were arrested before and after the Capitol riot"

Here is another version from one of your "trusted democratic news suppliers"
Stun guns, 'stinger whips' and a crossbow: What police found on the Capitol protesters

So, the second impeachment was a farce?

And not all of them were at the Capitol.

Even if he didn't plan the incursion itself, I think he knew it could happen and was probably hoping it would. He and his aides were actively monitoring these groups and knew violence could occur and he was not going to stop it. After all, he needed deniability in the end.

The attempt to stop the steal, aka overturn an election and remain in power, is basically textbook definition of a coup. Yes, he attempted a coup
