Wish they would have provided rationale. Not complaining, but the checkerboard effect must have pushed us right between TD Garden and Minute Maid Park. Pretty neat to see. Go Vols!

Nice list; wish they did one on just college football stadiums. Boise St. is definitely unique. Not sure how I'd feel about playing on a blue field.

It must be the orange and white checkerboard.

Dont get me wrong, I LOVE Neyland Stadium, but how is our field so unique? I mean the checkerboard endzones is pretty sweet, but compared to the two other football fields (a blue one and a red one) how are we unique? Those are some amazing sites to be listed with...

What an honor!

Good list. I never understood the hump in the outfield at MinuteMaid Park. Dangerous and dumb but definitely unique. Like playing a neighborhood wiffle ball game growing up.

IMO it's just different enough to be cool but not overwhelming to be tacky (Boise)

Would be nice to find out why these fields are so unique? is what their made of? how their designed?

Not that difficult, IMO:

Indy- Actual bricks in the track (known as the Brickyard)

Roland Garos- The red clay courts

TD/ Boston Garden- The court is legendary

Minute Maid Park- The hump in center.

Wimbledon- Grass Courts

A blue & red football field- certainly odd

FIU's court- Pretty cool paint job. I like it better than Oregon's.
