USA vs Canada for the gold

Again, I don't know much about hockey, but it seems like the USA is on the defensive side of the ice most of the time -- with the exception of US PP's.

i'm not great at understanding everything about the sport either, but that would seem to sound like the one time the preds and red wings played in the first round of the tournament, and the wings were such an overpowered team in comparison that like the shots on goal and saves for the nashville goalie in the game was like in the 40s (in comparison to DET's goalie's 20) each game

Someone who knows hockey.... Is the USA team more physical than Canada? If so, will all the checking and physical play take its toll late in the game or will that have minimal impact?

Minimal impact. Neither team is overly physical. We are very fast and maybe a bit more physical, but those kind of defenders really aren't here.

Both teams have a physical reputation. It will likely be a wash.

After we scored we seemed to pick it up for a little, but then it seemed like Canada was more on the offense after that. Hopefully we pull this out. I'm getting nervous.

I actually played ice hickey growing up, I was goalie on some pretty good teams.

Olympics typically aren't ad physical as an NHL playoff game,.

Canada is not out playing us, we just have a couple bad breaks.
