Ok, so inevitably when the SEC is at 20 teams in 5 years, what will the schedule be like then? We've been discussing a 1-7-7 schedule for 16 teams. Also a 3-6-6 schedule. What's next?

4-5-5-5?
3-4-4-4-4?
1-9-9?
7-2-2-2-2-2-2?
7-3-3-3-3?

This 💩 is just getting stupid now.
In this arms race, are we gonna just continue to add teams, change schedules, permanent opponents...
Just 2 years ago we were canceling games because of travel, now Maryland will be going to Los Angeles, for a conference game.
🤷‍♂️
If my choice is LA or Minnesota in November...

Imagine the ridiculous travel ahead for all the student athletes except maybe football.
Yep it’s crazy. We only really think about football in this but all the other sports will be part of this mess too and they won’t have the budget nor the resources that the football programs have and they will suffer.

I think the SEC will pick up Notre Dame , Clemson , Miami and FSU to get to 20 even teams cause the ACC will be done and the rest of the ACC teams will go to the big ten. There will be only two super conferences in a decade.

Doubt Notre Dame. Also the Big 10 would only want to bring in the big media market / big media footprint from the ACC.

The smaller ones like Wake Forest (possibly even the Louisville to NC State-size/level ones) would likely find themselves SOL.
